Today was more of a wildlife experience than a hike. We saw lots of donkeys, bulls with big horns, freshly born lambs and circling vultures ... and we just got a bit lost 🙃

The almond blossom 🌸 in Mallorca is almost over, but I found these beautiful trees in front of my favourite mountain ⛰️ Puig de Migdia near Fornalutx.

6 THINGS TO DO IN DE HOOP RESERVE

1. Walk the Whale Trail
Explore the tidal pools on a marine walk and with a bit of luck you might even spot a whale 🐳 on the horizon.

2. Dive into the pool at sunset
and enjoy the view over the Infiniti Pool, which might be accompanied by a zebra 🦓.

3. Observe wildlife on a hike along the Vlei
Or join a guided walk to see birds and other wildlife and learn about plants and their uses.

4. Expierience Vultures
See the last surviving colony of Cape vultures in the Western Cape.

5. Stroll through the giant dunes
at sunset to feel as if you landed on a different planet.

6. Take a river cruise
to get up close to many of the 150 bird species that inhabit the Vlei
